Anne Marie Tiernon started her career at WMBD-TV 31 in Peoria Illinois in the year 1989. Later, in 1991 she relocated to Indianapolis. She was a reporter on the CBS-owned WISH-TV newscast at 11PM and co-anchored its 5:30 PM broadcast alongside Scott Swan. From 2000 until the year 2004 Tiernon was an anchor for news for WLWT-TV in Cincinnati Ohio as the anchor of the 5-6 and the 11 p.m. newscasts alongside experienced anchor Dave Wagner. Tiernon, a Emmy Award-winning Journalist has covered both major and small reports throughout her professional career. To honor her remarkable medical reporting skills, she was awarded first place for the National Headliner Award. Tiernon was born in Fort Wayne Indiana, married Terry Tiernon.
