Liz Vassey started her career as an actress at the age of just nine. She's appeared in over fifty plays and musicals. Swallow graduated with a master's degree in acting in the New York University Tisch School of the Arts. Swallow has played the roles of both good and bad guys in movies and on television. She played the police detective on Ringer and a wife of a detective in Southland as well as a bounty hunter in CBS' series The Odds and a bank burglar in Medium. She also starred as the mermaid on Flight of the Conchords, and the Shana Sosin-directed production The Rift.
