Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American actor, voice actress, director producer and vocalist. A beautiful and smart actor, she is an example to numerous Asian actors who wish to become famous in Hollywood. Her fame was boosted by numerous popular characters in television series. For instance, in her role in the Ally McBeal series, where she played Ling Woo the villainous character. After her fame, she got important parts in Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000). She delivered a stunning performance as Japanese O-Ren, a gangster from Japan (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino. Also, she portrayed leading parts in box office flops like Rise: Blood Hunter. In the following years, she started voicing characters from animated films like Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. The small screen role of Mia Mason in Cashmere Mafia didn't yield any positive results.
