Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian, host of a TV show and performer famous for hosting The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime. The Talk. Born in Arkansas she grew up within Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised by a difficult family. Sheryl was a part of her life helping her younger sister Frankie with polio. While growing up, Sheryl was plagued by problems with her mother. Sheryl claimed that at one point her mother attacked the father of her child as she had been a little too closer to him. Sheryl was a soldier right after her graduation from college. Sheryl's interest lay with comedy. In 1989, she became the first woman to reach the finals in the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. Her TV career as regularly performing at The HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. She appeared in the show Oh Drama! as the host in the year 2000. In 2011, she began hosting as a co-host of the talk show The Talk. She's appeared in fictitious shows including Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
