Sheryl-Underwood
Sheryl Underwood is an American comedian and television host who is best known for her role as the presenter on The Talk, a popular talk show broadcast on daytime television. Sheryl was raised in Little Rock. Sheryl has a family which has experienced a variety of issues. Sheryl spent most of her life taking care of her sister Frankie as she was a victim of polio. When she was growing up, Sheryl was plagued by problems with her mother. Sheryl says that at one instance her mother stabbed her father because he was being too close with her. Sheryl was a soldier after she graduated from university. She was interested in comedy. In 1989, she became the first female to make it to the finals in the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. She began her TV career in 1992 after she made a cameo appearance as a frequent actor for the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. The show was hosted by her Oh Drama! in 2000. The show has also featured her as host of The Talk since 2011. Also, she's played fictional characters in programs like Bulworth and Nikki, as well as Beauty Shop.
